There are so many great web browser available today that an all-out struggle between IE and Netscape sometimes look more like the Cold War between the U.S. and the Soviet Union from the competition than just a web browser.
And in the world of internet browser, Maxthon is one of the few countries that are involved with the cold war.
We recently met with Maxthon, a free browser that offers some unique advantages, such as Dual Display Mode, Ultra and Retro. Maxthon will automatically switch between Ultra Mode, which uses Webkit to make the site keep up-to-date, and Retro mode, which uses older machines to the older sites are built with previous tools.
It also offers security facility to a safer browsing experience; notekeeping applications such as toolbars, translation, feed, and screen capture, mouse gestures, drag-and-drop smart, autofill, multisearch, and ad blocker and popup blocker.
Maxthon installed very quickly. Has a tab interface, customizable toolbars, integrated search box, and the Favorites menu which makes it easy for Maxthon to import bookmarks from IE (internet explorer) and from HTML-based bookmark.
