In essence, Inno Setup is a tool that can help you create a windows installer. When you operate it, the script has the extension. Iss, and the script is controlling every aspect of the installation. For example, the script determines which files will be installed and where the installation, determine the shortcut created and give the shortcut a name, and much more.
Script file is usually edited from inside the Setup Compiler program. After you finish writing the script, the next step and final step is to select the option "Compile" in the Setup Compiler. By running this command, it will be a Setup program that is ready to run based on the script. By default, the Setup program was created in a directory named "Output" under the directory where the script is located.
